GEAR REVIEWS

Burley Nomad

The Burley Nomad is built for bike camping/touring in mind. It’s lightweight with a capacity of 100 lbs. It’s aluminum frame and interior tie downs for storage, along with water proof cover, it has been the ultimate bike camping/biking trailer for us. 2,500 miles into our trip, this trailer has proven to be super durable and reliable. It has been down the Dalton Highway and in the Arctic Circle enduring negative temperature, rain, sleet, mud, and snow. And one of the best features is that it is a smooth ride at all times. Along with it’s accessory rack we are happy with this product and the customer service with Burley itself. For more information on this trailer, click the link provided below.

Burley Bark Ranger

FINALLY A TRAILER TO HOUSE LARGE DOGS. So being owners of a Wolf Dog we were super surprised when Burley released the Bark Ranger XL. For awhile before the launch of this trailer we thought we would have to build our own. Our dog actually exceeds 100 lbs, and the trailer still holds up well in the most harsh elements and riding conditions. The only thing we had to do was add an extra aluminum support bar on the bottom, because Aurora likes to sit all the way forward while riding. It rides smooth, tracks well, and for the size of the trailer its under 34 lbs. We’d highly recommend this trailer no matter what size the dog is for the extra room and comfort. Below is a link to the Trailer if interested in more details.
